Comment Policy

I welcome comments but I will thoroughly vet all comments. I am not much interested in irrelevant comments that criticize third parties or comments that indulge in needless ad hominem attacks, or in gossip-mongering.
I abhor fallacious arguments. I eschew meta-discussion as a waste of time. But I especially welcome corrections in matters of fact.
I am reluctant to publish comments that reflect poorly on the judgement, the intelligence, or the character of the submitter.
I will be much more likely to publish comments that address the topics of the posts or my own style and opinions. I have no problem with critical comments that meet the above criteria. I am also much more likely to publish comments by posters who provide me a means to contact them. Here, I am your editor. It's probably for your own good.

Note: It is my blog and I may trump, alter, ignore or modify my own rules for my own purposes.

That's just the way it is.

If you are dissatisfied with these policies please feel free to create your own forum in this wonderful world in order to promote your own agenda. You can do it.
